2005-2006 Season 1-Sep Inlet dances amongst 400 performers as part of the opening ceremonies for the Ingenuity Festival in Public Square (downtown Cleveland) in Robin Van Lear’s “Traffic Jam.” 2-Sep Inlet performs on stage at Tower City @ 2:30-3:30pm as part of the Ingenuity Festival. 3-Sep Inlet performs at the McRory Art/Tech Expo as part of the Ingenuity Festival. 6-Sep Inlet Trainee Program begins 12-Sep Inlet’s Fall Class Offerings begin 16-Sep Inlet performs along with nine other Cleveland area dance companies in the Dance Showcase at the Palace Theater (downtown Cleveland) @ 7:00pm, celebrating the grand opening of the Idea Center at Playhouse Square and Playhouse Square Center’s CenterFest celebrations. 17-Sep Members of Inlet will conduct accessible movement experiences for patrons attending Playhouse Square Center's "CenterFest" celebrations in the Idea Center at Playhouse Square. 17-Sep Inlet will perform at Cleveland Public Theater’s Gordon Square Theater (Cleveland) as part of their annual benefit, “Pandemonium” Sept 23-24 Inlet Dance Theatre will participate in the Ohio Arts Council’s Artist in Residence Program Seminar; Inlet will be one of two featured performing entities in the showcase. 1-Oct Members of Inlet Dance Theatre will perform as part of the ground breaking ceremony at the Cleveland Museum of Art. 1-Oct Trainee Program income Oct 6-9 Members of Inlet Dance Theatre will perform as part of composer/musician Ryan Lott's "Connect" event at Cleveland Public Theater's James Levin Theater as part of CPT's Big Box Series. Bill Wade will premiere a new all-male work set to a new score for two pianos by Ryan Lott. Oct 16-22 Internationally renowned dancer/choreographer/instructor Steve Rooks (former principal dancer with Martha Graham) in town to create a new work for Inlet Dance Theatre's repertory. The new work will premiere in Inlet's DanceWorks Series concerts at Cleveland Public Theatre's James Levin Theater in March '06 (see below) 28-Oct-29 Members of Inlet will perform at Boo @ the Zoo, as part of the Cleve. Museum of Art's Community Arts performers 1-Nov Trainee Program income 11-Nov Members of Inlet will join other performers for a CoolCleveland party at Cleve Institute of Art's Factory 16-Nov-28 Bill Wade to set "Amusette" on students from Lake Erie College 1-Dec Trainee Program income 2-Dec Inlet Open House at Paradise Gallery 4-Dec Members of Inlet will join other performers for Cleve. Museum of Art's Winter Lights Festival (Lantern Festival) Dec 11-17 Stephen Wynne in town to set his Tanz-theatre work "Skirting the Heart" for Inlet Dance Theatre's repertory. The new work will premiere in Inlet's DanceWorks Series concerts at Cleveland Public Theatre's James Levin Theater in March '06 (see below) 20-Dec Initial assembly performance at Cleve. Hts. High School for the 400 students in their Mosaic School of Arts & Technology. 1-Jan Trainee Program income 9-Jan Inlet’s Spring Class Offerings begin Jan 21- Mar 11 Saturday Dance Program in collaboration with Arts Collinwood Jan 30-Feb 24 Residency at Cleve. Hts. High School's Mosaic School for Arts & Technology sponsored by HeightsArts using funds raised from the Ohio Arts Council's Artists in Residency Program.
