The Dance/USA Annual Conference (June 12 – June 15, 2019) is an invigorating gathering of dance professionals united by their interests in advancing dance and celebrating the joy of movement. It is a time to honor leaders in the field, share and access new resources, and connect with peers through thought-provoking training and conversations. Together attendees discover innovative approaches to shared problems and strengthen relationships among fellow dance professionals.
The Annual Conference travels to a different city each year, highlighting the unique vibrancy of dance communities around the nation. These varied locales offer new inspiration and showcase the host city’s arts and dance ecosystem. The year the conference will be held right here in Cleveland, OH and Inlet is proud to be a community partner, assisting with spreading word about the conference and being part of showing Dance/USA what makes Cleveland so great.
Additionally, the annual FREE Dance Showcase, presented by Terry & Sheldon Adelman and held at Playhouse square, part of the Dance/USA Annual Conference. The 2019 Dance Showcase will be held Thursday, June 13. Tickets are still available. Dance Showcase brings the area’s finest dance artists onto one stage. Featuring an array of dance styles from classical ballet to hip hop, ballroom to Indian, and everything in between, Dance Showcase presents the richly diverse dance community we are so fortunate to have in Northeast Ohio. Inlet will be performing the renowned piece, “Ascension.”
