Nicole graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance (Performance & Choreography) from Kent State University in 2010. During her tenure at the university, she served as the Student Director for the annual student choreographed main stage concert. She was also a member of the university’s pre-professional touring company, the Kent Dance Ensemble. At Kent, she received numerous awards including the Guest Artist Award, Samuel E. Stillings Memorial Scholarship and the Academic Achievement Award. Nicole joined Inlet’s Trainee & Apprentice program in the fall of 2011 and was promoted to company member in 2013. While with Inlet, she has performed all over the country (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, Texas, Massachusetts). Most recently, Nicole performed with Inlet at Jacob’s Pillow as a part of the Inside/Out series. She has worked with international artists from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Romania and Taiwan through the Cleveland Foundation’s Creative Fusion program. Nicole has been the lead instructor in many residencies throughout the Cleveland area including Fairfax Elementary and Newton D. Baker School of Arts. She has also choreographed as a part of Inlet’s Annual Summer Dance Intensive Concert at Cain Park. Outside of Inlet, Nicole is the lead instructor and Artistic Director of Parkway Dance Centre in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. She would like to thank her friends and family for all their support.
